Cook/Chef

Part Time 20 Hours Per Week - Including Weekends

We are looking for skilled Cook/Chef to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.

An excellent Cook/Chef must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking.

Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day & Easter Sunday

Skills needed:

Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs.
Experience of cooking carvery is an advantage.
Knowledge of HACCP.
Able to manage multiple orders.
Professionalism and reliability.
Remain calm under pressure.
Good time management.
Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage.

Duties include:

Food preparation
Producing specials
Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard.

Deputy Restaurant Manager

Full Time 30/40 Hours - Fully Flexible - Including Weekends

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Restaurant Manager who has a passion for creating excellent food as well as good organisational skills. You will have proven capabilities for running a successful restaurant/kitchen and promoting excellent customer service.  You must be enthusiastic and wish to pro-actively develop the business. This is a hands-on role where teamwork and communication are vital.

The main function of the Deputy Restaurant Manager is to oversee staff, ensure that the business operation runs smoothly and handle escalated customer queries and grievances.  In addition, you will perform the duties and responsibilities for the Restaurant Manager in their absence.

 Candidate needs to have experience as a Deputy Manager.

Duties Include:

 Organising team schedules, handling staff issues and sick leave
Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed
Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time and budget.
Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
Business compliance in accordance with Health and safety and food safety laws and regulations.
Good IT skills – Excel and word

Team Member Landscaping/Delivery Driver

Full Time – 37.5 Hours Per Week Including Weekends

Temporary Contract

We are looking for a Team member landscaping and delivery driver where you will be the heart of our operations and ensuring customers have the best experience in store. The role will be stocking the Landscape department, building furniture, helping customer putting stock in their cars.

Forklift license preferred, Driving licence essential.

Garden Centre Team Leader Gifts

Full Time 37.5 Hours Per Week Including Weekends.

We are currently looking for a full time Gifts Department Team Leader to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre.

Working in a busy retail environment within the Garden Centre the successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills.

Responsible for the efficient operation of a quality retail sales operation through supervisory and administrative work in the Gift Shop. Responsibilities are performed with considerable independence.

You will have a positive “can do” attitude and be a skilled salesperson in order to drive sales through great standards and exemplary customer service.
