Front of House Assistant

(2 x Part Time – 16 hours per week - including weekends)

We are looking for Front of House Assistants who have a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry.  This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary however, you should have a “can do” attitude and enjoy working in a customer service environment.

Duties include:

Waiting tables
Taking customer orders
Serving food
Making hot drinks
Clearing and cleaning duties
Till operation
Pot washing duties
Basic food preparation

Skills required:

Excellent customer service skills
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Adhering to company policies
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team

Till Assistant

(Part Time – 24 hours per week –weekend working)

 We are currently looking for a Till Assistant to work in our fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. Previous retail/customer service experience preferred, however full training will be provided where necessary.

Duties Include:

Till operation
Taking Cash and Card Payments
Assisting customers with their purchases
Quality customer service.
General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy Till area
stock replenishment

Chef

 (Full Time – 40 hours per week – including weekends)

We are looking for a person with a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry. This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Experience in a similar role in a similar environment is required but training will be provided. Good career opportunity with lots of independence for the right candidate as you will be taking ownership of the kitchen.

Duties include:

Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard
Work safely around the kitchen equipment
Maintain accurate food ordering and stock levels
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
Monitor portion size and waste

Skills needed:

Experience of working in a kitchen
Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs
Baking cakes and other home bakes would be an advantage
Knowledge of HACCP
Able to manage multiple orders
Professionalism and reliability
Remains calm under pressure
Good time management
Level 2 basic food hygiene

Job Type:

The successful candidate must be able to cover shifts and be able to adapt to both kitchen and front of house when needed.  As a family run business we understand the importance of work/ life balance so our working hours for cooks mean no evening work or split shifts are required.

Office Administrator EPOS Assistant

(Full Time – 30 hours per week – Monday to Friday)

We are currently looking for an Office Administrator EPOS Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

This is a very hands-on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

Booking in orders
Receipting deliveries on HHT
Matching and filing delivery notes through EPOS and Paperless systems
Maintaining and keeping EPOS system accurate
Maintaining Paperless system
Pricing and sorting stock
Understanding stock processes, good in and invoicing

Knowledge and Skills:

Good attention to detail
Methodical and able to work at pace
Ability to work to procedures
Good communicator
Experience with EPOS systems
Computer literate with good administration skills
Experienced in manual handling.
Ability to prioritise workload
Flexible and trustworthy
Alphabetically and numerically literate
Must be flexible in terms of hours and days worked.

Assistant Restaurant Manager

Full Time – 40 hours per week – including weekends

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager with both a passion for creating excellent food and the organisational skills to successfully run a busy restaurant and kitchen. The successful candidate will be both a positive and creative individual, who has a passion and an ability for creating good food and promoting excellent customer service. You must be enthusiastic and wish to pro-actively develop the business. This is a hands on role where team work and communication is vital.

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you must be highly organised, results driven and have excellent overall front of house and kitchen management competencies.

Duties Include:

Manage team of staff
Staff Rotas
Stock rotation and ordering
Food Hygiene
Menu planning
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adhering to our strict company policy
Maintain excellent standards of guest service.
Maintain and monitor the highest standards of hygiene and Health & Safety in accordance with all statutory, legal and company requirements.

Requirements of the Role:

 Level 2 basic food hygiene
Thorough understanding of allergens and food safety
Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Knowledge of HACCP
