Till Operator

(Part Time – 30 hours per week – including weekends)

Temporary contract of 3 months

 We are currently looking for a temporary Till Operator to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.  Initially this is a temporary role with a view to becoming permanent.

This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  Previous retail experience preferred, however full training will be provided where necessary.

Duties Include:

Till operation
Taking Cash and Card Payments
Assisting customers with their purchases
Quality customer service.
General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy Till area

Requirements of the Role:

Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Work well under pressure
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Excellent customer service skills

Goods In Assistant

(Full Time – 35 hours per week – including weekends)

We are currently looking for a Goods In Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  The successful candidate should be physically fit as some heaving lifting may be required.  Previous work with forklifts would also be an advantage.

Duties include:

To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any shortages
Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction
Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock
Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
Stock take and stock control
Inventory stability and reduction
Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the site when required

Knowledge and Skills:

Good attention to detail
Methodical and able to work at pace
Ability to work to procedures
Good communicator
PC literate with good administration skills
Experienced in manual handling.
Ability to prioritise workload
Flexible and trustworthy
Alphabetically and numerically literate
Must be flexible in terms of hours and days worked.
