About Hitchin Garden Centre
Hitchin Garden Centre first opened in 1959 as a Harkness Rose Nursery, a famous family known for their incredible British roses and have been in operation since 1879. The centre, which is elevated by the stunning English countryside has a large plant area and has a great selection of gifts, furniture, and so much more! We have a great team of expert staff, who are always happy to help with whatever you need whilst visiting.
Stop by our Gardener’s Retreat Restaurant for a lovely refreshment. We serve a variety delicious main meals, tasty treats, and drinks as well as our children’s menu. It’s the perfect place to relax whilst browsing the garden centre.
We are dog friendly, offer free parking and look forward to welcoming you.
