Burford House Gardens

Enjoy a wonderful day out at Burford House Gardens. Relax and enjoy the sights of colourful flora and the local wildlife. Your ticket will help maintain these beautiful grounds so both you and local wildlife can enjoy them!

Located on the idyllic banks of the River Teme, the gardens at Burford House include a delightful rose garden, colourful borders, specimen  trees and a wild meadow.

The majestic Wisteria, cascading down the back of the house in April/May is a must see, when in flower it has the most wonderful scent. In addition, there are well over 100 varieties of clematis sprawled across the 4 acres of gardens.

The Tree Register’s Year Book 2023-24, sponsored by Sir Paul Mc Cartney, has a detailed entry of the collection of trees, some of which were planted by the late John Treasure. The gardens are home to several English champions, including Pinus Nigra, Betula Fetisowii, Larix kaempferi ‘Jacobsen’s Pyramid’ and Taxus baccata ‘Fastigiata Robusta’.

The gardens are now celebrating 70 years since its creation.
