Thatcham Garden Centre

Thatcham Garden Centre joined the family in October 2020 and underwent a year-long closure before its transformation under the wing of British Garden Centres. With roots tracing back to the early 1900s as Thatcham Fruit and Flower Farm, later known as Henwick Fruit and Flower Farm, the site has a rich history. It once housed a school for Lady Gardeners, pioneering the French cultivating system. Transitioning into a mushroom farm in 1982, it eventually evolved into the garden centre it is today. It is now a one-stop destination for plants, gardening essentials, gifts, homeware, and furniture for the local area. Visitors can unwind at the modern Gardener’s Retreat Restaurant, whilst children can play in the soft play area.
