Restaurant Assistant

(Full Time – 35 hours per week - including weekends)


We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant who has a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry.  This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment and will be expected to help out in all areas of the Restaurant.  Hospitality, restaurant or retail experience preferred, however full training will be provided where necessary.

You will need to be fully flexible and able to work weekends.

Your responsibilities will include:

Till Operation
Cleaning tables
Taking customer orders
Washing up duties
Helping out in the kitchen
Serving customers

Skills required:

Good communication skills
Work well under pressure
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Remain calm under pressure
Fully flexible with days and hours worked to meet business needs

Seasonal Assistant

(Part Time – 16-32 hours per week – including weekends)

Temporary contract until end December

We are currently looking for a Seasonal Assistant to join our large Garden Centre Group. As an integral part of the team you will work in all areas of the Centre.  The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role. Experience in retail is desirable to the role as is good customer service, however, full training will be provided where necessary.

Duties include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising a variety of products
Replenishing stock
Assisting customers with their purchases
Till operation
General housekeeping
Customer service

Requirements of the role:

Must be fully flexible and able to work weekends and bank holidays
You will have a right first-time approach and a can-do attitude
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Work well under pressure
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Excellent customer service skills
Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed
Able to work using own initiative
