EPOS Support – Plant Team
(2 x Full Time – 40 hours per week – including alternative weekends. Based at Redditch Warehouse)
As British Garden Centres are currently going through a period of sustained growth a fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced EPOS Support candidate to join our large Garden Centre group to help take our business to the next level. As an integral part of the team, you will help to drive the business forward.
Providing support to the Buyers, particularly the Plant Team, as we enter the exciting next phase within the business, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as you work on a variety of projects.
To collate the Epos import sheets received from Buyer/Suppliers.
Check sheets for any retail price differences.
Load Epos sheet to system
Set up offers/multibuys
Notify stores of any price changes and any new/ending multibuys.
Load and update price files for departments so stores can check invoices.
Raise purchase orders as per buyer’s instruction.
Send purchase orders to buyer/supplier for confirmation.
Let stores know what suppliers are delivering for that week.
Answer any queries which arise after delivery – liaising with Buyers/Stores/Supplier
Cover for other members in team when absent.
Experience of working in a stock management EPOS role ideally within a large multi store retail environment.
The ability to work independently on tasks assigned to a high standard.
You will be analytical, a problem solver and have great investigative skills.
You will have a right first-time approach and a can-do attitude.
You will be computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel.
General IT knowledge.
Garden/House Plant knowledge preferred.
Experience of working with stock control databases would be advantageous.
