Assistant Restaurant Manager
(Full Time – 40 hours per week – including weekends)
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager with both a passion for creating excellent food and the organisational skills to successfully run a busy restaurant and kitchen. The successful candidate will be both a positive and creative individual, who has a passion and an ability for creating good food and promoting excellent customer service. You must be enthusiastic and wish to pro-actively develop the business. This is a hands-on role where teamwork and communication is vital.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you must be highly organised, results driven and have excellent overall front of house and kitchen management competencies.
Manage team of staff
Stock rotation and ordering
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adhering to our strict company policy
Maintain excellent standards of guest service.
Maintain and monitor the highest standards of hygiene and Health & Safety in accordance with all statutory, legal and company requirements.
Requirements of the Role:
Level 2 basic food hygiene
Thorough understanding of allergens and food safety
Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Knowledge of HACCP
Professionalism and reliability
Remains calm under pressure
Good time management
