Temporary Till Assistant

(Part Time – 16 hours per week - including weekends)

Seasonal three month contract available

We are currently looking for a temporary Till Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  Full training will be provided where necessary.

Duties include:

Till operation
Taking cash and card payments
Assisting customers with their purchases
Housekeeping and maintaining a tidy Till area
Quality customer service

Skills required:

Experience operating EPOS based tills, preferred but not essential
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Work well under pressure
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Excellent customer service skills

Temporary Patio Assistant

(Part Time - 16 hours a week – including weekends)

(Temporary contract available of 3 months)

We are currently looking for a temporary Patio Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. Working in a busy retail environment within the Garden Centre the successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills.  You will have a positive “can do” attitude and be a skilled sales person.  The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a hands on role and will involve heavy lifting.  This is an outdoor based role.

Please note that you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.

Duties include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising of a variety of products
Quality customer service.
General Daily Housekeeping
Dealing with customers both in person and on the phone
Administration using the online stock ordering system

 The successful candidate will be:

Sales focused and accountable for providing great customer service
Reliable and have a keen eye for detail around the customers experience in your department.
