EPOS Administrator

(Full Time – 30hrs pw)

A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced EPOS Administrator to join our large and still growing Garden Centre Group. As an integral part of the team you will help to drive the business forward with a newly implemented EPOS system. Providing support to the EPOS manager as we enter this exciting new phase within the business. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills as you work on variety of projects.

Main Responsibilities and accountabilities will include

Based at Harrow Garden Centre you will report directly to the General Manager assisting in day-to-day duties of managing a busy Epos system at British Garden Centres.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Data input/integrity checks.
Goods in/out
Report analysis.
Stock taking.

Skills Required:

Experience of working in a stock management EPOS role ideally within a large retail environment with several stores.
The ability to work independently on tasks assigned to a high standard.
You will be analytical, a problem solver and have great investigative skills.
You will have a right first-time approach and a can-do attitude.
You will be computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel.
General IT knowledge.
Experience of working with stock control databases would be advantageous.

Garden Sundries Department Supervisor

(Full Time – 30hrs pw)

We are currently looking for a full time Garden Sundries Department Supervisor to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. Working in a busy retail environment within the garden centre the successful candidates will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills. You will have a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

Please note that you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.

Duties will include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising of a variety of products
Quality customer service.
General Daily Housekeeping
Management of staff
Dealing with customers both in person and on the phone
Updating department rotas
Ordering of uniform etc for your team
Administration using the online stock ordering system

The successful candidate will be:

Ensuring the highest standards of merchandising and inventory control are maintained.
Accountable for providing great customer service and have a keen eye for detail around the customers' experience in your department.

We are looking for a Landscape Supervisor to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.  Experience in building or similar retail experience is preferred.

Duties will include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising of a variety of products
Building products for display
Quality customer service.
General Daily Housekeeping

The successful candidate will be:

 Accountable for the operational excellence and financial performance of your department.
Ensuring the highest standards of display, compliance and inventory control are maintained and that sales revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
Highly commercial and results driven with a proven track record in a supervisory role.
