Sales Assistant

(2 x Full Time – 40 hours per week - including weekends)

Temporary Contracts of 3 months

We are currently looking for 2 x temporary Sales Assistants to work in this fast paced, exciting and very customer focused Centre. You will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude, plus a keen eye for detail.

This is a very hands on role and as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  The successful candidate should be physically fit as some heaving lifting may be required.  Experience of retail and till systems preferred but full training will be given as required.

Duties will include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising stock
Replenishing stock
Cash handling
Till operation
Plant care and maintenance
Plant watering
Customer service
Assisting customers with their purchases
General housekeeping

Restaurant Manager

(Full Time – 45 hours per week - including Weekends)

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager with both a passion for creating excellent food and the organisational skills to successfully run a busy restaurant and kitchen. The successful candidate will be both a positive and creative individual, who has a passion and an ability for creating good food and promoting excellent customer service. You must be enthusiastic and wish to proactively develop the business. This is a hands on role where team work and communication is vital.

As the Restaurant Manager you must be highly organised, results driven and have excellent overall front of house and kitchen management competencies.

Duties Include:

Staff Rotas
Stock rotation and ordering
Food Hygiene
Menu planning
Costing and maintaining the company food GP
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adhering to our strict company policy
To establish and maintain excellent standards of guest service.
To ensure the restaurant reaches and maintains its maximum potential in all areas.
Ensure all departments and team members comply with H & S and food hygiene
To communicate effectively with all team members through team meetings, appraisals and one to one coaching.
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurants environment, utensils, goods and equipment

Skills Required:

Level 2 basic food hygiene
Thorough understanding of allergens and food safety
Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Knowledge of HACCP
Professionalism and reliability
Remains calm under pressure
Good time management
