Cleaner

(Part Time – 4 hours -Weekends only)

We are currently looking to recruit a Cleaner at our Burford House Garden Centre.  Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Cleaning and maintaining shop floor, restaurant and customer toilets.
Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard
Customer service
Be responsible for cleaning materials and stock.
Re-order cleaning stock when required.

Skills required:

Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team

Work well under pressure

Professionalism and reliability

Good time management

Able to work using own initiative

Flexible and adaptable

Hardworking and diligent

Leisure & Sundries Assistant

(Full Time – 40 hours per week - including alternate weekends)

We are currently looking for a Leisure & Sundries Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. Working in a busy retail environment within the garden centre the successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills. You will have a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate should be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required. Previous retail/customer service experience is essential.

Duties will include:

Pricing, displaying & merchandising a variety of products
Replenishment of stock
Till operation
Customer service
General daily housekeeping
Making deliveries to customers’ houses and other garden centres.

Skills required:

Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Work well under pressure
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Excellent customer service skills
Full, clean driving license
Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed
Able to work using own initiative
Must be fully flexible and able to work when the business demands
