(Full Time inc Weekends)
We are looking for a Horti/Plant Area Manager to join our forward thinking team. Previous experience as a Horti/Plant Area Manager within the industry is preferred, however, applicants with a proven management background with a knowledge of plants will be considered.
Working in the plant area this is a high volume environment with fast a turnaround. The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role. A good knowledge of plants is essential to the role as is good customer service and a high standard of visual merchandising.
The successful candidate will preferably possess either a horticultural qualification will be in training or had practical horticultural experience.
Knowledge of Plant Husbandry
The successful candidate will be:
Accountable for the operational excellence and financial performance of your department.
Ensuring the highest standards of display, compliance and livestock inventory control are maintained and that sales revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
An inspirational leader for your new team ensuring that they receive clear direction and performance management within a culture of coaching and mentoring.
Highly commercial and results driven with a proven track record in a Management position.
Positive and strong communicator and a skilled motivational people manager.
Accountable for providing great customer service and have a keen eye for detail around the consumers experience in your department.
A solution orientated thinker with excellent problem solving skills.

Chef / Cook
(Part Time inc Weekend)
We are looking for a person with a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry. This is a very hands on role as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Experience in a similar role in a similar environment is essential. A good working knowledge of till systems is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard
Work safely around the kitchen equipment
Maintain accurate food ordering and stock levels
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
Monitor portion size and waste
Excellent communications skills and able to work as part of a team
Professionalism and reliability
Good time management
Level 2 basic food hygiene
The successful candidate must be able to cover shifts and be able to adapt to both kitchen and front of house when needed. What can we offer you?
