Warehouse Team Member

Full Time Hours Per Week -Including Some Weekends

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our large Garden Centre Group. As an integral part of the team reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will assist in the warehouse with picking and packing, loading and unloading vehicles and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse in line with Health & Safety regulations.

The successful candidates should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role and some heavy lifting will be involved.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing of customer orders
Ensuring all orders are 100% complete and correct items are picked and error free.
Loading and unloading of vehicles, in and out bound
Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse in line with Health & Safety rules and regulations
To check goods against purchase orders.

 Skills Required:

Forklift license preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The use of electronic devices for the purpose of stock control would be advantageous.
You will have a right first-time approach and a can-do attitude.
Able to work safely in a busy warehouse environment and adhere to company safety policies.
Computer literate and experienced with EPOS.

Assistant Restaurant Manager

Full Time Hours Per Week-Including weekends

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager your main function is to oversee staff, ensure that business operations run smoothly and manage escalated customer queries and grievances.

Rate of pay negotiable depending on experience

Skills required:

Excellent customer service skills
Communication and team management abilities
Experience working in a similar role
Managerial experience

Duties will include:

Organising team schedules, handling staff issues and authorising vacation annual and sick leave
Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed
Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time, and budget
Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects
Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations
Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
Business compliance in accordance with Health and safety and food safety laws and regulations.

Full Time 30 Hours Per Week - Including Weekends Flexible

Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage

Duties include:

Food preparation
Producing specials
Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard
Monitor portion size and waste
