Stokes Tea & Coffee are a Lincoln-based, family-run company that has been brewing their exceptional coffee for over 120 years, founded in 1902. The artisan coffee company truly has a passion for what they do and that comes across in their incredible coffee. Nick Peel is the current Managing Director of the company and is the fourth generation to take the reins of the business.

During the 120 years Stokes Tea & Coffee has been serving up delicious, blended coffee they have weathered many storms, seen four monarchs, twenty-three prime ministers, two world wars, the 1929 great depression, as well as the recent global pandemic. The company is older than the BBC!

Much like British Garden Centres, Stokes Tea & Coffee stand apart in their industries bringing out the best of British in all they do. Stokes HQ is where they roast their beans and is also home to The Lawn Café in the famous Lawn Building, a 19th-century asylum in Lincoln.
