I have worked for British Garden Centres for 12 years and enjoyed some great development opportunities leading to my career progression within the company. I started at Brigg Garden Centre as work experience back in November 2011. From that, I was offered a job as a compost assistant loading people’s cars. I worked in each department in the garden centre over the years, gaining valuable experience and insight into how the garden centre is run. In 2020, I was promoted to the Garden Centre Manager role at Gilberdyke Garden Centre and worked with the team there for almost two years before being offered my current position of General Manager at Brigg, our flagship centre. I have been well supported throughout my career here at British Garden Centres.
