We are looking for an experienced Gift Department Manager to lead the team. The successful candidate will be both a positive and creative individual, who has a passion and an ability for creating an inspirational retail experience. You must be enthusiastic and work closely with the centre manager and gifts buyer to pro-actively develop this part of the business. This is a hands on role where team work and communication is vital as you will be in charge of a small team of giftware assistants. 

As Gift Department Manager you must be highly organised, results driven and have excellent overall retail management skills. 

• Excellent Customer service

• Stock rotation and ordering

• Administration of deliveries  

• Staff Rotas and delegation of work

• Maintaining a high level of tidyness and cleanliness within the department.

Restaurant Front of House Assistant (Full Time Permanent)

This is a full time permanent position in a busy Garden Centre Restaurant. We are looking for a person with a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry. This is a very hands on role as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment is essential. A good working knowledge of till systems is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Skills required:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Adhering to company policies

You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays, however there will be no split shifts or evenings work.

As a large company we can offer a competitive salary that is negotiable dependant on previous experience.

General Assistant.

We are currently looking for a full time General Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.  

Please note that you will be required to work weekends.

Duties will include:

• Helping customers with their purchases

• Quality customer service.

• General Daily Housekeeping at the front of the Centre.
