The centre is situated near the market town of Brigg. The popular flagship centre is one of the largest garden centres in the UK. We are currently looking for a
part time Landscape Assistant to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre.

The successful candidates will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive
“can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

Experience in building or similar retail experience is preferred.

Duties will include:

• Pricing, displaying & merchandising of a variety of products

• Building products for display

• Quality customer service.

• General Daily Housekeeping

Events Coordinator (Full Time)

We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team at Brigg Garden Centre. The successful candidate will be working with the Brigg Garden Centre team to organise and manage different events, including Santas Grotto. Our most popular event is our Children’s Activity Week which happens numerous times a year.

Duties will include:

• Organising, planning and leading a full schedule of activities.

• Organising Charity Fundraising events.

• Liaising with Centre Managers to set up events.

• Maintain the Centres events calendars.

• Organising promotional material with the Marketing Team.

The successful candidate will be:

• Comfortable leading activities with groups of Children.

• Enthusiastic, confident and energetic.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and punctual.

• CRB/DBS checked.

• Experienced in a similar role.

This role has the potential to develop to running events in our 10 other centres in time.
Future events will be discussed during the interviews.

Coffee Haven Assistant
(Full Time Permanent)

Coffee Haven is situated within Brigg Garden Centre in Lincolnshire and offers a relaxed coffee shop atmosphere serving Stokes of Lincoln Coffee to an established customer base.

This is a full time permanent position in a busy Garden Centre coffee shop. We are looking for a person with a passion and flair for the coffee shop market.

This is a very hands on role as such you will need to be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment is essential.

A good working knowledge of till systems is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Skills required:

• Experienced as Barista

• Experience in food preparation

• Understanding of stock rotation and ordering

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Adhering to company policies in line with current Food Hygiene Level 2

• Awareness of profitability and portion control & wastage control

• Basic understanding of menu planning

You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays, however there will be no split shifts or evenings work. As a large company we can offer a competitive salary that is negotiable dependant on previous experience.

Restaurant Front of House Assistant

(Full Time Permanent)

This is a full time permanent position in our busy Garden Centre Restaurant.

We are looking for a person with a passion and flair for the restaurant and catering industry. This is a very hands on role as such you will need to work to a very high standard and be proactive, highly motivated, organised and results driven with good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced environment. 

Previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment is essential.  A good working knowledge of till systems is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Carvery experience is desirable but not essential.

Skills required:

• Excellent customer service skills 

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Adhering to company policies 

You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays and must
be flexible during busy holiday periods.
